My own unique artwork in the woven print series focuses on visual perception and color relationships. Several prints, photographs or collage images are cut into strips and then reconstructed (weave) into an entirely new and unique artwork. The result is a rich intense textural collage. While obscuring the originals, they affect the final image creating depths of perceived perception, invoking the minds world of known and dream images, and requiring imaginative yet impossible reconstruction, until the unique whole is realized.
